Dietz Police lanterns sell between $50 and $300 depending on the model and condition. I am not familiar with the Tower and Lyon appellation. Does the lantern actually say that? Does it say Police Lantern or Policeman's Flash? Does it have the thumb operated flash mechanism or the base-slide mechanism? Is the bullseye diameter 3" or 2.75"? Is the lantern made of tin or brass? Does the burner take a flat wick or does it have a pair of tubes for whale oil? All of the above have a bearing on the market price of police lanterns. BB
