I've been trying to track down the background of a lantern I acquired that is labeled "Dietz Clipper" on the base. Could this be a reference to the Ham Clipper royalty you describe? The globe is labeled "Dietz, LOC NOB, Patented 3-10-14" on one side and "Fitzall NY USA" on the other side. Unfortunately it has been retrofitted with an electric light in place of the wick. Any insights you could provide on this piece would be appreciated.
