The burner is simply pressed into the tank like a cork into a bottle and frequently needs a little penetrating lubricant,(liquid wrench,PB blaster,W-D 40,etc.)and gentle prying to loosen it up. You might try wrapping the jaws of a pair of pliers with soft cloth so they wont leave a mark and gently but firmly try unscrewing the fuel cap, usually once you break it loose it'll come right out. if you damage the cap trying to get it out, You can get a replacement cap as well as the proper wicks for it from W.T.Kirkman at lanternnet.com, Woody also has globes to fit your lantern although the "correct" globe would would be the Embury globe, usually red, marked with No.10 and just below that a capital "E" with six lines or "rays" radiating outward from the "E", these show up on e-Bay occasionally and aren't too expensive. Woody also sells excellent reproductions of the original Embury Luck-E-Lite decal that goes on the front.
Good luck,
Willis
