Re: FOK lantern-who made it?
There are several distinctive Defiance features here: the fill cap design, the radial slot globe plate and the wicket globe wires. It's tempting to call the wicket wires "Rochester" globe wires because they were used by Defiance, Embury and Prisco. However the wicket style was also used by Dietz. The original Defiance wires had sharper, less rounded corners, like used by Embury briefly in 1908 and by Prisco 1909-1919. Since Defiance changed to the "Always Standing" bail in 1919, this lantern can be dated as 1911-1919. BB
