Hey Rick, Thanks for the update. For an experiment with your kerosene. Why don't you take a sample of pure kero in a glass jar or bottle, filled to the top with no air space for condensation etc. and another with a kero/ mineral spirit mixture and set them where the temps are the same as your lanterns. Keep them covered so sunlight will not degrade the kero. Check them at different temps. and I bet you will be amazed at what you notice especially at the colder temps. Keep us posted or me at least as I find this facinating. Gary at 3000 ft. in the cold mountains of Virginia.
