I have to agree with you on the PL2 although the Embury Air Pilot is close and has a slicker lift. I think the short globe units have an advantage in output. I have always considered the Dietz Junior to have the best light output for it's size but recently discovered that Indian knockoffs of the Junior are even brighter than the original and better made than any Chinese lantern. I don't have any Mevas to burn so can't comment on that. Is your Meva a Czech Meva or something newer? How about a picture of that burner? BB
