I can't recall ever seeing a dietz short globe without the D-Lite. My best guess is that it's a transitional globe from around 1919 when they were deciding to drop the Wizard name and call it the D-Lite thereafter. The mold mark is a Gleason GI, (Corning would be C-1 or C+1). Both Gleason and Rodefer used the MAR in the patent on Blizzard Loc-Nobs. Anyway, I think the perfect lantern fit would be in a 1919 Wizard or a 1920 D-Lite (same lantern).
