Arcibald Woods Paull Jr. made lanterns at his Wheeling Stamping Co. in West Virginia from 1897 until 1946. They all bear the 1890 and 1903 patents, so that doesn't tell us anything. The original glass should be marked Paull's, although I think they may have used unmarked globes in later years as Paull's Leader globes are common in No. 0 hot blast form and rarer in cold blast form, but non-existent in later forms. If you can post a picture or e-mail it to me, I can tell you more. If no picture, then describe the bail connection and whether the burner cone rises with the globe plate. BB
