Here's a Monarch I thought I would never see. Current wisdom among lantern scholars would say it is post 1914 and pre-1915. In any case a transitional design between the cold lift model (1911-1914) and the (1915) return to the hot lift with additional vertical tube reinforcement. If anyone has one of these, i would appreciate knowing the patents on it! It may even have a production date on the off-chance it was made in the New York plant which began production dating in 1914.
