Hi David, Thanks for the info. I knew it was So. Cal. Gas Co. but never looked into it on the internet. They also had other lantern such as the NO.100 Special but with a different stamping above the globe holder as SO.CALIF.GAS.CO. They are still around. They also had the Handlan 2000 lanterns. Some were both versions with the regular and super tankers and were painted yellow. Steve Hillyer
