Thanks for sharing your research, Rick. There are many variables to performance, and so many different designs. I have one old tubular burner that burns better because the cone opening has been flattened on top.
I have noticed my old Adlake wicks, and older wicks in general, are more dense, with tighter weave, than replacement wicks I see available today. Do the new Adlake wicks have the same density and weave as the old? BB
