Both sound like nice lanterns. Wish we could see them! I have a regular Banner hot blast, which I really like even though the fount bottom has seen better days. It has the crinkle tubes like a Nail City Crank tubular.
Those deck lanterns are really well made. Sorry somebody got to your's with a bead blaster Rick. I wish people would quit that!! I don't look at lanterns on ebay anymore but there was a guy from NY that sold a lot of really rare lanterns and seemed to blast them all. I know they're his and he can do what he wants with them, but man that made me sick.
