Rick,
Must not be to rare I have bought 3 off e-bay for $ 12 to 18 dollars over the years. I have one with the wick key in the up-right and the others look like yours. My guess is that some customers did not want a Hi Lo # 40 and made the up grade so
that they did break the globe banging around in the back of the truck. I do find the e-bay ( heavy hitters ) do bid on these baby when listed.
Nice solid lantern enjoy it.
