Chris, Check out the FAQ's on Woody Kirkman's website. The first FAQ gives links to different Dietz lanterns. The Night Watch Lantern replaced the 8 Day after WW II. The 8 Day and Night Watch fresnel globes are dimensionally the same and interchangeable. So the answer to your question is yes and no. They were made for the Night Watch lantern but can be used in the 8 day. I have both 8 day and Night Watch fresnel globes in my collection, but I keep them in the appropriate lantern, but that is just me. Your night watch globes look good in the 8 day lanterns.
