I would date these as pre-1898. The cross-tube designs were pretty much discontinued by 1900, except for the Victor. The SG&L details which were on all (except the O.K.) Dietz hot blast models after 1898 don't appear to be present. Are there patents on the center tube? Does the globe retainer wire terminate to the crown with the "bedroll" detail? That's the little capsule embossed in the cap where the globe retainer wire connects. BB
