That's a good observation, Mike. This lift design is susceptable to over-rotation, which is why my Storm King looks the same way. While the Buhl zero has lift, globe wire and globe retainer details very close to the Berger, they are still different enough to preclude manufacture by Berger. In addition the Buhl shows its own propritary details in the square tubes and the optional match holder that indicate it was indeed made by Buhl. Some vendors, who had their lanterns made by others, did insist that proprietary details of their own be added to their lanterns, but were usually of a minor/cosmetic nature. Rayo is a good example. Their cold blasts were Priscos with a rayo-only ring pull in the shape of a "D". BB
