Very nice lantern. Very difficult to find with the match holder.I believe your globe lift is twisted. Perhaps someone put too much pressure and the result was a twist of the actual wire itself. To me , it appears as if it is in the open or upright position. Every illustration I have ever seen shows the lift to be up against the vertical tube when closed and out(as yours is) when open. Of course, I could be wrong. Check out the illustrations on the site.
