What gets me is that this lantern far exceeded even the most stunning presentation conductor's lantern, at least, that I have ever seen. You know the ones I'm talking about, right? Brightly plated, ornately etched and engraved, two-color globe, wow-factor of 110 on a scale of 10? Most I've ever seen one of those babies go for never topped $700.
