I stopped at an indoor flea mrkt.in kingston,ny.I was looking around and saw an old clear lantern globe with some writing on it.On the globe it read DL&S co.Rochester ny.I went blank!What does it stand for? Well for a buck i bought it.Later that day,I took a ride into a town about thirty miles north of kingston.I stopped in a antique store.Up on a shelf i saw an old lantern frame.I took it down to look at it. On the fount it said no 0 perfect Defiance lantern&stamping co.Rochester ny.9bucks! Who knew? What are the chances? You just never know.
