Pro Farm Rules Revised November 23, 2003
2.PTO, Rock Shaft, Lift Cover Optional
3.Frame alterations: Must have OEM frame rails with stock wheel base
4.3000-RPM Maximum. Must have sensor hook-up on tractor to be hooked to dual level speed switch on the sled (RPM Detector) Wire must be one (1) continuous wire outside the side rails and visible. NO SPLICES.
5.All tractors can run P pump or smaller (one plunger per cylinder).
6.Any size turbo.
7.Water Injection optional. No nitrous oxide, alcohol, or propane. Diesel fuel only. If water injected, must be on front side of turbo. No port injection.
8.Must have OEM intake and exhaust manifolds with alterations for turbo mounting permitted.
9.Kill Switches Tractor must be equipped with a dead man throttle and only one linkage allowed to the pump. Air shut-off valve has to e operated by the sled and accessible to the operator.
10.No front weights extending more than 24 beyond forwards most point of tractor.
11.Must have wide front end; OEM front end for make and model of tractor.
12.Electric fans allowed or must have steel shroud around OEM fans. (Sixty-thousandths minimum thickness).
13.Wheelie bars required. Must be able to carry weight of tractor. Pad must be a minimum of 10 square inches with a maximum height of 10 inches from ground level.
14.Weight classes: 10,000- 15,000 # - Cubic inches maximum 680.
15. 3 or 6 band scatter blanket around clutch required for Sanctioned
Pro Farm class.
16.Must wear Fire Jacket when pulling. Fire extinguisher must be on tractor. ROPS- Optional. If using ROPS, helmets AND seatbelt must be worn.
17.Steel flywheels, clutch and Pressure Plate- MANDATORY.
18. 2 Tech men to be drawn from the list of pullers at each event. Tractors to be teched in the staging area. Once teched, they must proceed to their class line-up.
