Yes and I thank you for telling me about P.R. If you look at the history of UKC it is a little troubaling at times as to what they let in. They have no breeding requirments and what ever you breed and say this is what it is then they accept. This opens up to many doors for unscupulus ( and I am not say you are) people to ruin this breed. If people have a dog that does not have proper papers then UBT will test them. I am just trying to do everything possible to keep this great breed what it was menat to be. The Germans have seen it to many times that breeds of dogs that make it over here get ruined. People start breeding without cares, no testing for ability or genetic issues. I am not saying that the Germans are perfect but this is their breed and they have made it what it is. I have worked hard to insure the German BGS club that there are enough people in this country who are willing to accept their rules. They are very leary of us getting the dog and ruining it. That was all I was saying.
Yes, white anywhere except the bracken star on the chest means the dog should never be breed. Small bracken stars are allowed according to breed standards. Infact if white is found anywhere other than on the chest the entire litter should not be breed becasue there is a problem in that gene pool. Someone, somewhere introduced an inpure dog to the blood lines. That is what I am trying to avoid and UKC's history tells me that it will happen sooner or later. Thus the reason I hope people stay away from them and AKC.
