yes you can add water to blood to make it last longer . just don't add to much because when you put it on the ground it will be like oil and spead out . and this make it a bigger spot . if you shoot a deer and have to wait the next morning to find it and it rains it speads the blood out and makes a bigger spot and the dog can smell it better .
