I have been doing alot of research on blood tracking dogs and I have a few questions. I was looking at the hanoverian and the bavarian but I have found out they are very hard to come by, so I turned my interset to the wire hair dachshund, here is one of my questions, is a Dachshund going to be able to follow a trail through a cattail swamp or any other type of swamp? Also does any one have any other ideas on good blood tracking dogs? I have been thinking about a bloodhound, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
