At the end of the blood trails I have been leaving a deer leg for my dog to find. At times he will leave the blood trail and go directly to the deer leg. I think he is wind scenting the leg which is his reward. Is this ok? I think it's working because he is only cutting off the last 20' or so of the track.
Anyone else on the board from Michigan?
