well if he's done 20+hour tracks before you must have a good dog . night or day should'nt matter . and you did the right thing by finishing . but in the real world tracks sometimes you have to stop the track before you find the animal for some reason or you can't find the animal because it's not hit good enough . sometimes times they have a bad day and don't really fill like doing a track but will do it because you want them to . maybe he was sick filling or went in a area that had alot of pollen in the air . the main thing is keep trying tell the dog he is doing a good job and have fun . some dogs like 1 of mine does'nt like practicing . she will do it but she love real tracking and is a totally different dog when i use the the scent track shoes . i guess she thinks there's an animal to find . have fun and watch the dog to find out what he is thinking .
