My husband wants a deer tracking dog. We have a 1yr old female lab who is smarter than us, but she is gun shy. Would she still be able to track? Also a friend of mine has a male Catahoula/Black & Tan mix that she wants to breed to her female Rhodesian Ridgeback. We get the pick of the litter, but we aren't sure this cross would do for a blood trail dog. Do ya'll think that it would?
