I notice there are 2 main designs for harnesses. The most common is the one that goes under the dog's chest and around the shoulders (http://www.frankonia.de/shop/Hundefuehrgeschirr/_/bid/159266/cpage/1/tf/square/productdetail.html#), and the other less common is the one that goes around the front of the chest and attaches to a belly strap (http://international.sporthund.de/images/niggelohharness.jpg).
