found--male redbone hound near Nixon, Texas

Trying to find anyone who lost or knows anyone who lost a what I have been told is a redbone hound in the vicinity of Nixon, Texas which I believe is located in Gonzales County. When found the dog was wearing a collar and was extremely skinny, dirty, and flea-infested. The hound was found February 16, 2007 but it appeared he had not eaten in at least a month. He is being nurtured back to health and is a very good natured dog. I would like to find the rightful owner. Please respond to my e-mail address if you have any information.The hound is expected to make a full recovery as it is young and getting stronger everyday.
