a cold nose dog is 1 that is breed to track trail over 24-48-72 hours .these dogs are specialist in tracking old trail for days if that's what it takes . one problem your having is because it your dog want to hunt animal that go underground . my friend in belgium has 1 that will kill alot of rats everynight . you just take him to the barn right before dark . the other 1 he has is a rabbits dog . sometime a dog while going hunting and see the deer and knows you want it and will try harder because of there's a live animal there to excite it . you can get the dog on the bike but it's not to safe because of ice rain or snow and the dog sifts it's weight real quick . and jacks are terriers are they get excited about everything . you keep trying and you will get him to work for you ,remember patience.
