an older dog that is started or finished is not a problem to track . it takes 9 months to 1 year to train the dog . but it takes 2 years for a person to become a good handler . and to understand the dog . but if you used to working dogs this will be faster . you want find many people that will sell a train dog . but then there are pups being trained to track and this might be the place to start .
