I think that there very few mimiature wire dachshunds that are used for blood tracking, and their owners might not be on this forum. This group is about blood tracking - not about field trials, human tracking, earthdog or agility. IMO you are just asking wrong people. I think but I am not certain that there is a yahoo group for miniature dachshunds and this is where you should post your question.
