I travel thousands of miles each year tracking and hunting. Usually with 2 to 4 other people and all the gear that is needed so a smaller breed was a better choice for me. Do the research on the different breeds that interest you, see which will fit into your lifestyle and hunting needs best. Some breeds get bored easily and command more attention, can you provide the attention/working required? Others don’t require as much attention so it’s important to check the general temperament of a breed you’re considering. It’s impossible to tell you which breed is the best tracker for you because it varies so much from person to person. What works best for me may not be best for you.
Bloodhounds have the best nose.
