Posted by Ernie on 5/5/2007, 10:18 pm We also get the Mean, Mad Chopper with speakers in this one as well. Frankly, I liked McKay. As I understand it, those hotshot chopper pilots with big egos were usually good at their jobs. It was not easy because a chopper is usually a clear target for snipers. I enjoyed the fireworks complete with the sound of Rock and Roll music. Fortunately the enemy on Tour Of Duty were lousy shots! I was amazed again at the authentic look of the Saigon street scenes. With the exception of a store with an American sign, the congested traffic look was realistic and looked like the large city. It was Saigon as I remembered it. The black market was a major problem in Saigon. I was assigned to a specially selected military team to inventory the Navy Base Exchange, Ko-fat. Naturally I wanted to know why it was being done that way. I was told the black market was the reason why. Those people (mostly Navy personnel) could be involved in the black market and they could not be trusted to do an accurate inventory. I have to say I was not happy to be in that situation but I was not the team leader so I just did my job and got out of Dodge as soon as I could. Enquiring minds want to know. Why did poor Ruiz always get stuck with the cherries? And Hanoi Hannah did sound sexy and she turned out to be a cutie, too. See you all in the chat! Ernie...
This week's episode is the first of Season 2. This is the advent of Alex and McKay. And LT is fed up in this one.
