She had a lovely flight and arrival to Burbank, even though she couldn't sleep a wink, not even on the leg from Sydney to San Francisco. She tried everything. Then she took off her eye mask and looked around the cabin. She stuck her headphones back on. She's managed to spread the word about ToD. She asked me to say hi to everybody. It was Sheila! Somebody must have tipped off the hotel and warned them about us ToD types. Pen and Mel are heading out today. Safe travels, you two! Signing off for now,
I talked with Lindy last night to welcome her to the States and pass on Helfire's message that Sheila's flight was delayed several hours, and we had a great time chatting.
She turned off the reading light and pulled down the shade.
She took out a blanket.
She put on her headphones and eye mask.
And saw that she was the only one NOT sleeping. LOL
And listened to her iPod.
Which plays Tour of Duty music.
And sang along.
Quietly.
Still, someone nudged her and asked her to please stop. LMAO
She just couldn't help it.
She is just too excited.
To everybody from a traveling couple from Nebraska, to the guy who brought up her room service meal. LOL
And to tell you guys that we spent over 3 hours talking,
and that her room service chicken parmesan got cold. LOL
And that she couldn't figure out how to get into her room.
But that the staff came along and helped her, proving once again that everybody are such lovely people. :-)
But those keys are dodgy. LOL
I can attest to this because towards the end of our call, somebody rapped the door.
She had just arrived from her 15-hour trip from London and couldn't get her key to work, either.
Don't let them in! LOL
And Ernie and I are flying out tomorrow. Have a good one, Kaj!
