Hi George, and welcome.
This was such a brilliant TOD episode.
I thought John Dye acted his part of DOC particulary well in this ep.
I wasnt a fan of Doc when he first arrived, especially when he stirred up Taylor with his comment on them all being baby killers.
He deserved to get smacked in the head.
But then he started to grow on me.
Until this ep. The way he just sat there and let that soldier get shot because of his damn morality, I went right back to not liking him again LOL.
But later, when he started tossing all his stuff out the window, into the rain, mattress and all, it got me feeling sorry for him, and a tiny bit disappointed with all the guys for the way they treated him. (except for Taylor who at least cut him a little slack by giving him credit for sticking to what he believed in was right. Even if what he did was considered wrong in everyone elses eyes.) And It reminded me of Horn in the HIll, and how the guilt of letting down his friends, caused him to go back up that hill, and risk his life, because he thought that was the only way he could ever live with himself, and right himself in their eyes.
Talk about Peer group pressure, LOL.
: I love that scene but then I love Hock.
: That's why I wrote two series around him.
: That is the first time I REALLY accepted Dye
: as an actor. I had never heard about him
: till TOUCHED and they never even used him.
: They allowed him to act in only about five
: shows. The rest was , YUK Monica. She was so
: sweet she sent me into a diabetic coma. At
: least Della was spunky. They needed more
: Dye and War is a contact sport is my
: favorite show.

: Henriette Moustakis
