You know I understand the fact that "Maybe" they will make the improvements to make this a "Real Drag Strip" if they get racer support, but this is a double edged sword, you don't get support from racers if you don't spend the money. Bernie learned this at LACR so he spent the money (re-paved the entire track, new 300ft. concert launch pad, better lights and so on), he listened to the racers gripes and fixed many of them and it paid off. It's not like the the Huth family doesn't have the money, the reality is for more than 40 years they slammed Drag Racing till LACR closed and they thought they could step up and make a buck, well you gotta spend money to make money and they think they can do it on the cheap, and people will put up with it, and they will for awhile, but not for the long run. Personally I'd rather make the trip to Fontana or Irwindale or Famosa and do it right and run my car at it's full potential. Just my 2 cents.
