Heard: willow springs has the drag strip opened to "real" race cars, they have a timing system, some what of a burn out box, and running cars that are trailered, and slicks, etc. Entry is $15 only one bracket for now, the turn out is kinda short, and its 1,000 ft. Races are Sept 10th and Oct 8th for this year, dont know how good it is but it can only get better they said, per more car count and racer input, something is better than nothing, they are getting there. Call the track for more info.
