Long article in todays (5-8-08) Valley Press about the future plans for replacing the track. Seems Antonovitch is working with the locals on a deal somewhere around the Lake LA area, county supervisors all on board with this. Sounds promising,don't be so quick to give up just yet!
(I've been a lurker here for some time,spent lots of Friday nights there, and was at the closing)
