I went on the track and shot pictures in Sept. after the stands and guardrail had been taking down. Then at the get together at Ed's place for the Christmas LACR party with Bernie, I stopped by and shot more. The asphalt was all gone and the track was a dirt road.I plan to go by and shoot pictures of "the hole" and will compair those shots next to shots from the same area when LACR was at it's prime.I was going there since the late 70's when it reopened as "King's Antelope Valley Raceway" .Hard to believe it's going on a year since we last met there. Damn I miss the place.I will make sure I fill up before I go out there as after you and Mikes efforts to get something going in Palmdale were shot down, I will never spend another dime in the city.Bitter? you bet after getting smoke blown up my rear by city officials at the save LACR rally. But then they are politicicans aren't they.Lying is what they do best, silly me.
