Mike: You are correct with your facts!!
But what wasn't told to you is, the mayor of lancaster is in hot water, Because he broke the state law concerning open meetings. the city of lancaster officials are to busy covering there collective BUTTS to worry about anything else, JUST read the paper. As for the city of Palmdale, I went to a city councel meeting and asked to speak on the issue of another drag strip, and was told out right that they have no time to listen to such dribble. Which MEANS that they have no time to listen, ONLY IF YOU HAVE MONEY AND THATS IS THE BOTTOM LINE. NOW comes my point of view:
WHEN ONE OF THEIR FAMILY IS KILLED ON HURT BECAUSE OF STREET RACING AND IT W I L L HAPPEN!!
They will sit and wring there hands and cry over their loss and blame everyone except themselves.
MY POINT IS THE CITIES COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND DIDNOT SO, GET your heads out of the sand you are playing with fire and peoples lives. BUT what do you care, We are just the voting public and when election time comes around again, I WILL BE THE LOUDEST VOICE DECRYING THE FACT YOU DIDNOT DO ANYTHING TO TRY TO STOP THE LOSS OF LIFE ON THE STREETS OF THE ANTELOPE VALLEY.
