We took my Fuel Roadster "Revelation" out for one last squirt . Picked the front end up at 900' couldn't steer and lifted. So Dave Gruzen in their Fiat Altered and I did a farewell tribute pass . Since the track couldn't handle horsepower ,
we did big side by side burnouts, a dozen dry hops , staged & let em idle off the line & waved goodbye to our "Bernie Plex" @ 43 & 45 mph all the way down the 1320.I want to thank Bernie Longjohn for helping me realize my dream decades ago with my comp lic.I never had the "killer competition Gene" like my fellow competitors , to me it was always about the show. Along the way I won a few, but it's the show that's most important to me, Bernie Longjohn gave me that stage and I am forever grateful to him. I have been to too many "Last Drag Races",only 2 have brought me to tears,Lion's & LACR. I will miss her dearly. Bernie you and your family are in our prayers and wish you much success in this phase of your career. Thank You My Friend.
