The Save LACR committee is still in talks with the City of Palmdale and we are now conferring with the City Manager on this issue, the city has expressed its need to keep a Drag Strip in this area and we are pursuing that with their help. In regards to Race Legal, yes they did try to save Carlsbad and it didn’t work, but through their efforts and “Not Giving Up” they were able to secure a new venue at Qualcomm Stadium along with help from the City of San Diego and local Law Enforcement. As for bugging the Officials involved we “All” need to keeping letting them know how we feel, remember the “Squeaky Wheel” gets the grease. These Politicians get thousands of emails and letters each month and they are read by some intern who, if they see a trend on a certain subject will now let the Politician they work for know about.

We are keeping everyone in the “Loop” and when there is “News” about the fight it will be posted here on this board, we will keep this board and the track website www.LACR.net up no matter what happens for that vary reason; information will also be posted on www.SaveLACR.org .
