There is a valid reason for the corrected time slips and that is to get a cometition lic. you need to run in the 9's and to some that won't happen at 2700 ft. and would mean a long drive to Bakersfield or Fontana to get the final runs in. I am glad for the fact that N.H.R.A. has alt. correction so I could do all my runs at L.A.C.R Once that was accomplished I prefer the actual un-corrected times in order to compare to past days at the track.
Just my two cents worth.
: Wow, you guys are way outta line.. I mean
: really, is it all that important.. I mean
: all the bad vibes. Alt. adjusted or not.
: It's not like I was over the line, that was
: Smokey.. Please lets all just get out there
: and have fun. Thats just how I roll...

: If it is corrected, It should say A1 next to
: the times. A regular non-corrected time slip
: woln't show that.

: Hello,
:
: I was told recently that LACR allows drivers
: to receive either corrected-for-altitude
: timeslips, or non-corrected. Is this true?
:
: If so, how do you tell the difference
: between a corected vs a non-corrected
: timeslip?
:
: Thanks in advance. Tim
