No the rally is not a "Get Together", it's to bring attention to the problem that the closing of LACR would cause in regards to "Putting More Kids" back on the streets racing. The Rally is to bring attention to that fact the Clubs & Associations that have raced at LACR for years will now have to go somewhere else. The Rally is to show the Cities of Palmdale and Lancaster that closing LACR will not only cause them to loose revenue, but it will cost them money by having to re-direct resources i.e., cops to deal with the increase in “Street Racing”, when they could be answering calls about real crime. And it’s not about Bernie, or the NHRA or any one individual or corporation. What it is about is Kids and Dads and Moms and Racers and Race Fans and the Community.
So let’s be there tonight and show Channel 7 and The Valley Press and Channel 11 and 1470 News Talk Radio and The Daily News, what “LACR Means to Us”!!!
