There are TWO songs by that name. Amy's words are to one, but not the Gene Austin tune (and her words are better that the Austin. The record is one version, the print music from Kansas City (Gene Austin) is a totally different song. The Austin words are:
I've got a dream, a beautiful dream,
One that I call my own.
When I travel the lonely road
I never travel alone
Chorus:
In my heart there's a picture ]
of the girl that haunt's my dreams;
She is always there to guide me
when life's not what it seems.
Like a rainbow at sundown at the end of the day
She haunts my dreams
When moonlight beams
She's the SWEETHEART OF DE MOLAY.
