Dear Sonny (AKA Carlos Dominguez III, I assume)
I hope all is well with you, Ball and the family.
I was curious about this question myself and I went to the Thomasite Centennial web page and checked out the USAT Thomas' registry of passengers. I looked up the State of Missouri contingent and did not find his name. I did not look his name up in other states. (I linked to other web site and found your querry.) There was an earlier ship the Sheridan and later ships (registries unknown to me).
Information on Abuelo Claude which you may already have:
Name: Claude Edgar Andrews
Born: March 10, 1875
Died: Decemebr 8, 1956
Father: Frank M. Andrews B 1850
Father of Frank: John Vermillion Andrews
Mother: Rebecca McGinnis B 1860
It is interesting to note that your brother in law Johnny's family registry name, as I remember, is John Vermillion Andrews, although he was not registered as such. Cynthia is of course Butterball courtesy of Abuelo given her rotundness at birth. I received the name Sundown from him being born at 6:00PM in his house in Tuguegarao.
I may have more information for you in a file (Department of State) which I do not have handy at this time. please respond byemail as this isa public site and I may have posted more info than necessary.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the Christmas cards we have received from you and Ball over the years and at the same time apologize for not reciprocating. I want to tell you that I was touched when Ball and you remembered to invite us to your son Ralph's wedding.
My indelible memories of you are your youthfull look(babyface)at Loyola Heights and your red(?)Kharmann Ghia in Nichols.
My warmest regards to You, Ball, Johnny and Tita Nenita.
Dick Andrews
Grandson of Claude E. Andrews
