is this the same percy alva hill who wrote some stories about intramuros? i can't remember the name of the book at the moment. it was a popular book before world war 2.
i also seem to remember that he was a writer for a newspaper or magazine or something here in the philippines. someone also did a paper or thesis on him at the u.p. diliman probably in the '80s. i did some initial work on this person around five years ago. this hill was a landowner in nueva ecija (???) and was murdered by a farmer/s or helpers because of robbery (or something)before world war 2. i remember an article on the case in the pre-war philippine free press.
