My great-grandfather was a Thomasite. His name was Reginald Forster Smith and he was from Boston. He was assigned to Kalibo, Aklan where he met my great grandmother, Romana Calizo with whom he had two daughters. Maria Smith (-Dorado) and Pura Smith (-Diaz.) After his Philippine assignment, he joined the diplomatic corps in China.
Does anyone have records about him and his colleagues? We would be happy to join any activities organized by/ for descendants of the Thomasites.l
