Dear Mr. Jong Fortunato,
There were several Thomasites who taught in Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. As a matter of fact, one of the students of a Thomasite, eventually became a Professor of Biology, Prof. Guillermo Magdamo. He later married the sister of my late father, Dr. Gregorio A. Venturanza. Surely, the Office of the President of Silliman University would be more than glad to accommodate your request.
My late grandfather, MR. THOMAS HENRY EDWARDS was a Thomasite, and am truly proud to be the eldest of his grandchildren. What a legacy he has given his children, and now, down to his great grandchildren.
Here's hoping you succeed in your search, as I am sure you will.
Sincerely,
Edna V. Concepcion
