Hello all,
What a wonderful website! I'm doing research on the Thomasites, and on the American role in the Philippines at the turn of the century more generally. I'm a PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin, and I plan to travel around the U.S. next semester researching. I'll also be coming to the Philippines in the winter or spring. If any of you have any letters, photographs, diaries, scrapbooks, etc... of Thomasites, I would love to look at them, and to hear any stories you have about Thomasite ancestors. It would really deepen my research to get at how the Thomasites themeselves understood and wrote about their experiences.
